Silver alert canceled for missing Gowanda man

Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has canceled a Silver Alert for a Gowanda man.
David Sharts, age 47, had been last seen in the area of Aldrich and Buffalo Streets.An alert was issued for Sharts because he’s reported to have symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia or cognitive disorders.
The Sheriff’s Office update does not indicate why it was canceled, or what condition Sharts is in.
