Shooter worked for company securing Buffalo City Hall

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The man behind the worst mass-shooting in U.S. history has been linked to Buffalo through his former employer G4S, a security company recently hired to provide protection at City Hall.
Now identified as 29-year-old Omar Mateen of Fort Pierce, Florida, police are digging through the man’s life history to help determine why and how he carried out a shooting at a gay club called Pulse, ending the lives of 49 innocent victims.
