Sheriff’s vehicle significantly damaged in accident on 400

ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A two-vehicle accident on Route 400 near Transit Road left significant damage to an Erie County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says one of their vehicles was struck by a passing vehicle in the northbound lane of Route 400.
The road was restricted to one lane for a brief amount of time.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to be cautious in dangerous driving conditions.
