Sheriff: Man shoves ranger after refusing to stop climbing Akron Falls

AKRON, N.Y. (WIVB) — Trouble allegedly ensued when authorities tried to stop a Newstead man from climbing the Akron Falls.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says Brandon Taylor, 25, was climbing the falls at Akron Falls Park when a park ranger asked him to stop.
Deputies say Taylor refused to get down, so the ranger tried to intercept him along a trail.
When the ranger did this, deputies say Taylor shoved the ranger, and so, law enforcement officials were called in for help.
