Sheriff: Inmate found with contraband after visit

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Deputies with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office say an inmate at the Correctional Facility was found with marijuana.
According to authorities, Tyrell Brown, 23, was searched by a corrections officer after a visit. This is allegedly when the officer found a bag of marijuana in his sock.
Brown was already being held on a weapons charge and parole violation.
He was charged with unlawful marijuana possession as well as possessing contraband in prison.
