Sheriff: 17 dead in Florida high school shooting, suspect in custody

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that 17 people were killed and multiple people were injured in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida on Wednesday, prompting a massive police response and manhunt as frightened students hid in their classrooms.
