Seven people hurt in overnight fire on Hertel Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Seven people are in the hospital recovering Tuesday morning, following an overnight fire at an apartment building in North Buffalo.
Firefighters say it started on the second floor of the building in the 12-hundred block of Hertel Avenue.
Buffalo Fire Commissioner, Garnell Whitfield said three children and four adults were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, including a father who was burned.
