Serious head-on collision kills local woman

DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) — A serious collision between a car and a pickup truck led to the death of a local woman Wednesday morning.
Police and first responders rushed to the scene of the 11:30 a.m. crash on French Road in Depew to find a severely damaged car with its engine block separated from the body of the vehicle.
