Serial robber who admitted guilt sent to prison for 12 years

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Grand Island man who robbed a series of stores wearing a recognizable turtleneck and stocking cap is heading to prison.
Prosecutors say 43-year-old Charles Henry faced sentencing on Friday, receiving a decision by a judge that he will spend 12 years in prison. Henry, who pleaded guilty to third degree-robbery and second-degree attempted robbery, admitted to at least one credit union robbery, a convenience store robbery and several other robberies.
