Serial bank robber pleads guilty

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A serial bank robber from Buffalo admitted to his crimes in court.
Casey Swain, 38, pleaded guilty to bank robberies that occurred in Buffalo, Lackawanna, Niagara Falls, Kenmore and the Pittsburgh area. The robberies occurred on five different days at First Niagara Bank branches.
During the robberies, prosecutors say Swain passed notes to tellers demanding money. The notes had phrases like “no sudden movements” and “eye contact” on them,
