Seneca Nation holds peace walks for DAPL protestors

IRVING, N.Y. (WIVB)- The fight is far from over in North Dakota.
Sunday, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced a temporary halt in construction for the Dakota Access Pipeline, a project that’s been widely protested by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
Protesters argue the oil pipeline threatens the water source for the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, and also disturbs sacred land.
