Search for missing man in Chautauqua Lake resumes

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A search and rescue mission for a 48-year-old Chautauqua County resumed Sunday morning.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says the man was riding on an inner tube being dragged by a boat in Chautauqua Lake, when he fell off and did not resurface.
It happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday.
Sheriff Joseph Gerace tells News 4 they believe the man was not wearing a life jacket.
