Schumer calls for more action against heroin in Niagara County

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — Sen. Charles Schumer wants to see more action be taken against heroin in Niagara County.
The Senator said in a release that he wants to designate the county as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). This is due to what he calls high amounts of fentanyl-laced heroin, meth and drug crime in the county.
