Safyre Terry’s mother to be sentenced for 2013 arson

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A woman who pleaded guilty to lying about a fire that killed several of her children and their father will be sentenced in court on Monday.
Jennica Duell, the mother of Schenectady’s Super Survivor, Safyre Terry, is charged with lying about the 2013 arson on Hulett Street in Schenectady.The prosecution is pushing for Duell to spend 15 years behind bars. The defense? They’re asking that she only get five years with credit for time she already served.
