Sabres Drop Sixth Straight with 3-1 Loss in Chicago

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — As tough a task as it is to win against the Chicago Blackhawks in the United Center, the Buffalo Sabres had a victory within their grasp, perhaps their first in six tries.
A Ryan O’Reilly goal with just more than eight minutes to play in the third period put the Sabres on the board and tied the game at 1, after Buffalo had failed to do much of anything offensively for the previous 52 minutes.
Minutes later, it fell apart, again.
