Runners taking on the 121st consecutive Turkey Trot

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)— Thousands of trotters are hitting the pavement– participating in the long time Thanksgiving day tradition.
“It’s a lot of fun,” said Geoff Falkner, the communications director for Buffalo Niagara YMCA. “It’s not just about the run. It’s about being together.
Together with 14,000 other Buffalonians- trotting down the road before gobbling down some turkey. Western New Yorkers have been running the race for 121 years.
