Rochester firefighters rescue woman from Genesee River

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Fire Department rescued a woman from the Genesee River Wednesday morning.
The rescue happened near the Andrews Street Bridge.
Although mud and fallen trees created a challenge, firefighters were able to get the victim out of the water. She was then taken to a waiting ambulance.
It is not clear how the woman got into the water.
