Revised Green Code anticipated to spur growth

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Formerly an 1,800 page code designed to suburbanize Buffalo, the Green Code has slimmed down to a useful size with the help of Mayor Byron Brown.
Brown presented the new Green Code to the Buffalo Common Council to review. It’s been cut over the past five years with the help of citizens who have a vision for the future of the City of Buffalo.
Instead of creating a more suburban Buffalo, the new code encourages mixed-use neighborhoods, repositions the waterf
