Restaurant owners, customers prepare for increases in 2016
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Cantina Loco, an Allentown staple, was packed on a dreary Tuesday night.
But, in just two days, diners at Cantina and restaurants across New York will be paying more, thanks to a state law that goes into effect Dec. 31. That law increases the wage for tipped workers, like Megan McGrady, from $5 an hour to $7.50.
