Residents, officials looking for answers about what is causing lingering scent
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Residents in Niagara Falls describe the smell around the area as “rotten eggs” or “sulfur”. The residents have complained to officials and now they’re trying to figure out what exactly is causing the smell.
The mayor, Paul Dyster, has formed a task force to look into where the smell is emitting from. He and residents believe the waste treatment plant is creating the smell.
