Record low temperature set for New Year’s Day in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A new record low temperature for January 1 has been reached in Buffalo.
Monday morning, the temperature reached -4 degrees. The new record was set at 7:45 a.m.
The old record of 0 degrees was set in 1970.
