Public hearing set for plan to dewater American Falls

Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WIVB)- Niagara Falls could run dry again. State leaders are considering rehabilitating or replacing the bridges that connect Niagara Falls, Green Island and Goat Island. The bridges are more than 100 years old.
New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation at the Department of Transportation put together a proposal in October 2015 explaining three options: maintenance, rehabilitation or replacement.
