Proposal for water park, hotel on Buffalo’s Outer Harbor

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – On the Buffalo waterfront property once used by Henry Ford to build Model T’s, there is now a $250 million dollar proposal that would include a water park and hotel rooms.
Developer Gerry Buchheit, who is already converting the nearby shut-down Freezer Queen Plant into luxury apartments, a $40 million dollar project, says “we think it’s very doable and we think it would really work well on the Buffalo Outer Harbor.”
