Practices on ice teaching athletes lessons for life

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Every Thursday night, with skates and sticks in hand, a team takes the ice at Canalside.
“They just want to participate in sports like anybody else,” said Sheila O’Brien, the executive director for SABAH which stands for Spirited Athletes Bold at Heart. The organization teaches sports to those with disabilities.
