Police: Student arrested after punching school principal

LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 17-year-old Lackawanna High School student has been arrested after allegedly punching the school’s principal.
According to police in the city, numerous people were fighting in the school on Wednesday morning and the Principal tried to break it up.
The Principal was struck in the left eye with a closed fist, police say.
The teen was charged with harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She will appear in court on Nov. 16.
