Police: Sheriff’s deputy charged with DWI for 2nd time

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A deputy with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office is in trouble with the law, and it isn’t the first time.
An internal investigation has now been launched after Daniel Harris was charged with DWI in West Seneca in the early morning hours of Sept. 22.
According to a police report obtained by News 4, Harris smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and red, glassy eyes.
