Police believe mortar shell from world war was found on Parkside

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police believe a mortar shell from either World War I or World War II was found on Parkside Ave.
A bomb squad responded to the address on Parkside Thursday.
The bomb was found in a basement after flooding occurred.
It is not clear if the bomb is live or not.
