Pedestrian struck at Amherst intersection

Amherst, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Williamsville man died after he was struck by a vehicle Friday night.
Police say 68-year-old Jeffrely Lyons was struck while crossing Maple Road near Hopkins Road just after 11 p.m. Lyons sustained multiple injuries and died at the scene.
No charges have been filed against the driver. The accident remains under investigation.
