ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB)- There’s a reason why eight is a lucky number in the Spahn house.
August 8 was the day Lisa Spahn and her son, Carter, beat the odds.
“I had just come home from work. I was home maybe five minutes and I was just sitting on the couch, and just felt something wasn’t right,” Spahn told News 4.
That’s because something wasn’t right; Spahn was pregnant with Carter at the time, and had a complication which caused massive hemorrhaging.
