Panasonic announces hiring event for Buffalo solar facility

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Mark Shima, the President of Panasonic Eco Solutions Solar New York, was in Buffalo Wednesday to announce a hiring fair for a solar facility in the Queen City.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown was also at the announcement, which took place at the Buffalo Employment & Training Center on Goodell St.
The hiring fair for Panasonic positions at Tesla’s Gigafactory 2 will take place next week.
The City of Buffalo says the South Park Ave. facility will be the United Stat
