Over 4,000 National Grid customers without power in Tonawanda, Kenmore

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Over 4,000 National Grid customers in Tonawanda and Kenmore are without power as of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to National Grid's website.The estimated restoration time for most of the outages is listed as 9:30 p.m. Earlier Tuesday evening, over 12,000 customers in the same area were without power.A National Grid official told WIVB News 4 that the outage was due to a piece of equipment on an electrical pole that broke and is not related to the heat.This is a developing
