Officials announce murder charges following Anchor Bar shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One of the men prosecutors say is connected to the fatal Anchor Bar shooting from May has been charged with murder.
Officials announced the second-degree murder charge against Jorge Suarez, 25, on Monday.Buffalo police say Suarez killed Freddie Dizon, 32, at the popular Main St. restaurant on May 20. Another person was injured in the shooting.
Suarez was taken into custody the next day on unrelated charges.
