NY Assemblyman facing primary, trial fatally shoots himself
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A New York state assemblyman facing a Republican primary challenge next week and a fraud trial in Cambodia has killed himself.
Rochester police say an officer responding to a 911 call saw Assemblyman Bill Nojay die Friday morning from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the city’s Riverside Cemetery.
