Niagara Falls Mayor promises solution to frozen pipes by city
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Nearly 3,000 feet of piping in Niagara Falls isn’t buried deep enough into the ground. That’s caused frozen pipes for two consecutive winters in a row.
Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster says he has created a plan to fix the piping to avoid another winter laden with frozen pipes on 72nd Street in the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls. He says if the Niagara Falls Water Board won’t come up with a plan to fix the piping, he will.
