NFTA holds job fair while union negotiations continue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (NFTA) has a number of openings right now and they’re holding a job fair to provide information and resources about the positions which include around 40 bus operator jobs.
“Forty openings is because of retirement,” said Michael Martineck, the public relations representative for the NFTA. “You see baby boomers retiring and there’s a trough.”
