New residents prepare for bitter winter

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Refugees and immigrants not used to this sort of winter need a lot of prep for their first season.
“Buffalo is good, but weather is not good,” said Jean De Dieu Ntakirutimana.
He was born in Kenya, and arrived in Buffalo a little over a month ago.
Jean saw his first glimpse of snow in late November.
“It was beautiful, but very cold,” he said.
