New report from AAP says infants should sleep in parents room during first year to decrease chance of SIDS

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) –– A new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics says babies should sleep in their parents room for the first year of their lives.
The group released those new findings in an effort to combat SIDS or sudden infant death syndrome. According to the CDC, SIDS kills 3,500 babies across the country every year.
