New charge for Quebec man arrested in connection to Lancaster hit and run

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB)- 32-year-old Sebastien Lavertu is facing a new charge after being arrested in connection to a fatal hit and run in Lancaster.
Lavertu is charged with Tampering with Evidence in addition to Leaving the Scene of an Accident that resulted in death.
“There was hair on the grill. And he removed that hair in the States,” said Erie County District Attorney John Flynn.
