New Amphitheater put on hold; NY Supreme Court issues temporary restraining order

CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The popular Chautauqua Institution in the Town of Chautauqua is putting a large plan to reconstruct its historic amphitheater on hold.
A New York State Supreme Court issued a temporary restraining order that halted construction of the project on Monday. The move is the next step after a group filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court seeking to permanently halt the project.
