Move Over Law changing this week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Whenever you’re trying to drive around a garbage truck, you need to be careful. As of this week, that’s the law.
The state’s Move Over Law is expanding November 1 to include recycling and waste collection vehicles.
The Move Over Law requires that, when possible, drivers change lanes when they approach a parked, stopped or standing emergency vehicle with flashing lights. When it’s not possible to get over a lane, drivers must slow down.
