Minnesota police ticket man for reading novel while driving

EAGAN, Minn (WCMH) — Police in Minnesota ticketed a man for distracted driving, after he admitted he was reading a James Patterson novel while behind the wheel.
It happened Tuesday on Highway 149 in a suburb near Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Police told Media General contributors that an officer was patrolling in an unmarked SUV when he noticed the driver trying to balance a tablet on the steering wheel.
