Millions to boost mobility for seniors, disabled

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — More than a dozen local agencies will be splitting millions of dollars to boost transportation and mobility programs for seniors and people with disabilities.
These programs are critical for many who would otherwise be bound to their homes, unable or unwilling to venture out.
Friday, Congressman Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and agency leaders gathered to accept $2.65 million in federal funds.
