Millions pledge to participate in Global Running Day

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) —  Around the world, more than two million people are pledging to go for a run today as part of Global Running Day.
The pledging participants represent 177 countries. This pop-up holiday is for people to celebrate the joys of running.
Organizers say the distance and time doesn’t matter – what matter is getting up, getting moving and running around a bit.
