Member of Gov. Cuomo’s administration shot in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Cuomo administration released a somber announcement Monday as they revealed a member of the staff remains in critical condition following a shooting in Brooklyn.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced 43-year-old Carey Gabay, the first deputy general counsel at Empire State Development, suffered gunshot wounds in Brooklyn early on Monday morning. Injuries sustained in the shooting forced first responders to rush him in critical condition to Kings County Hospital.
