Mayor, comptroller in dispute over $2.5M in ARPA funds
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Acting Buffalo Mayor Chris Scanlon is rejecting a claim from Buffalo Comptroller Barbara Miller-Williams that the city may have to return nearly $2.5 million in unused ARPA funds.Under the American Rescue Plan of 2021 -- a federal law to help assist the nation recover from COVID-19 -- Buffalo received over $331 million in federal funds.
