Man wanted for bailing on attempted robbery parole

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The search is on for a man who stopped appearing for parole he was serving due to a first-degree attempted robbery conviction.
Police believe Joseph Elston, 26, is armed and dangerous, but aren’t sure where he is hiding. Officers say he used a gun to hold up a woman, prompting the charges against him.
Officers are teaming up with Crime Stoppers to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of Elston.
