Man shot near Buffalo school; left in critical condition

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Rampant gun violence in the first week of September continued on Thursday, this time near a Buffalo Public School.
Buffalo Police Department officers rushed to the scene of a shooting near PS 53, on the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue. Officers say gunfire rang out just after 10:30 a.m., leaving a man with gunshot wounds.
