Man seriously injured in Buffalo gunfire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A local man suffered serious injuries due to gunfire on Buffalo’s east side Tuesday afternoon.
Officers say they responded to the 1700 block of Genesee Street just after 4:15 p.m. after learning of reports of gunfire. When arriving to the scene, police say a man in his late 20’s suffered injuries believed to be serious in nature.
First responders brought the man to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
