Man robs M&T Bank in Cheektowaga

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — After an internal investigation, police are reaching out to the public to help solve a bank robbery.
Police in Cheektowaga say they are working to learn the identity of a man caught on camera. They say he’s seen on camera robbing an M&T Bank on 900 Thruway Plaza Drive on Sept. 3.
Officers described the photographed man as being about 5’7″ tall, thin and wearing a beard. He made off from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
