Man killed in Salamanca vehicle accident

SALAMANCA, N.Y. (WIVB) — One man is dead after a Wednesday accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Salamanca.
Salamanca police say the accident happened on Clinton St. near the intersection of Summit St. around 5:10 p.m.
The victim, who was only identified as a 54-year-old, was taken to Olean General Hospital, and then ECMC. He later died due to his injuries.
